The purpose of this blog is mostly to showcase lesser-known works from my archives. Also, from time to time, I intend to highlight themes or series of artworks, the connections between which may or may not be immediately apparent.

William T. Ayton was born in northern England on November 11, 1958. After showing an early aptitude for art, he studied at Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland. He later moved to Madrid, Spain & Paris, France for several years in each place. He then moved with his wife, Diana Ayton-Shenker, to Brooklyn, NY, USA. After 7 years & 2 children in Brooklyn, they then moved upstate to Rhinebeck, NY, to have a third child & work on projects together (& separately). The story continues…
