Artwork from Shadow Bay

Shadow Bay is what I’m working on at the moment. Right now. I’m wading through chapter 8 of this monster, which is about the halfway mark. It was written by Donald J. Rothschild, a friend of mine. It was originally produced as a play, then sold in Hollywood as a screenplay, which was ultimately never made. Now, it’s a graphic-novel-noir-blog. We’d like to publish it as a graphic novel, actually a visual novel or painted novel would be a better term. It’s pretty big — I’ve already done around 180 drawings/paintings for it. The final thing might have around 400 or so. Here’s a small selection of some of the more iconic ones. They won’t help you understand the story much. You’ll have to go read it

One of the probably many very good things about this project is that it’s taken me to many places I would never have gone otherwise.
